Who needs a Level 3 HACCP Training Certificate?

How long does the training take?
The Level 3 HACCP Training, (Intermediate HACCP/Advanced HACCP), will take on average 6 hoursto complete. The training is split into different sections, each of which will each cover a different area of HACCP. Each section will vary in length and as well as content. This is only a guide time and some trainees may take less time to complete the training, while other may need more time. This is not a problem as the course is designed to be entirely flexible to the users needs. This is extremely useful for any trainees that may have learning difficulties, people who are not familiar with using a computer or people who have not previously used E-Learning.
Online Assessment
The Level 3 HACCP Training Assessment will take approximately 60 minutes to complete. The assessment is multiple choice and consists of 60 questions. These questons are randomly generated from a question bank of over 120 questions. To pass the assessment and gain your HACCP Certificate you must achieve a score of 75%, 45 out of 60. If for any reason you fail the course we will provide you with a resit for just £25.00 + VAT. This is on the assumption you have completed all of the learning material before attempting the assessment.

What is HACCP and what does HACCP stand for?
HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point. HACCP is an internationally accepted Food Safety Management System which identifies the critical points in processes where food safety hazards may occur.
Do my staff need HACCP Training?

What is a HACCP Plan?
The HACCP Plan is a document which is based on the 7 principles of HACCP. The HACCP Plan describes all of the procedures that have being put in place to ensure that the food that is served by that establishment is safe.
Does my company need a HACCP Plan?
Yes. All Food Businesses should keep a HACCP Plan, which needs to be tailored to their industry and to their individual company. The HACCP Plan should be kept up to date by the HACCP Team or the person who is responsible for the HACCP Plan.
Who should be responsible for the design and mainenance of the HACCP Plan?
The HACCP Plan should be constructed by an individual, or team of individuals, who are competant to do so and understand the principles of HACCP. The best way to understand the principles of HACCP, along with all of the steps involved in creating a HACCP Plan, is to undertake further HACCP Training.
