How long does the training take?

The Level 3 Food Hygiene Training, (Intermediate Food Hygiene), will take on average 4 - 4.5 hours to complete. The training is split into different modules, each of which will each cover a different area of Food Hygiene & Safety. Each Module will vary in length and as well as content. This is only a guide time and some trainees may take less time to complete the training, while other may need more time. This is not a problem as the course is designed to be entirely flexible to the users needs. This is extremely useful for any trainees that may have learning difficulties, people who are not familiar with using a computer or people who have not previously used E-Learning.

Online Assessment

The Level Award in Supervising Food Safety Assessment will take approximately 60 minutes to complete. The assessment is multiple choice and consists of 60 questions. These questons are randomly generated from a question bank of over 100 questions. To pass the assessment and gain your Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate you must achieve a score of 75%, 45 out of 60. If for any reason you fail the course we will provide you with a resit free of charge.
