Course Duration

The Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate Online takes approximately 2 hours to complete. This time is just a guide and may differ from learner to learner; we understand everyone learns at a different pace that is why we have designed this course to go at your pace. This Level 2 Food Hygiene for Catering follows the same syllabus as the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, CIEH. In addition, the training maps to the UK National Occupational Standards in Food Safety & Hygiene at Level 2.

Food Hygiene Regulations requires operatives to train food handlers on Food Hygiene & Safety Principles. Therefore, this course's content covers all of the core elements of Food Hygiene & Safety. The course covers the following areas:-

Assessment

The assessment consists of 30 multiple choice questions, of which the user must answer 23 (75%) correctly to pass. The assessment will take on average 30 minutes to complete.

Certification

Once you successfully complete the Online Training, your CIEH Approved Certificate will automatically appear on the computer screen, ready for you to print immediately. In addition to this, you will also receive a backup copy via email to your chosen email address.
